Registration forms, weigh-in information and deadlines are provided and determined by Hardin County Senior Fair Board. They are posted here on this page to better serve the communities access to this information. The OSU Extension, Hardin County office will try to answer all questions and concerns or you may also refer to the current year’s fair book, with the understanding that all final decisions are made by the Hardin County Senior Fair Board.

2022 IMPORTANT HORSE INFORMATION:
Horse ID Form - All 4-H horse members must turn in a PAPER COPY of the Horse ID Form by June 6. This form must be completed for all horses you are using for your project. Please turn in forms to our office. We have a drop box outside the front door for submitting forms after hours.
Horse Lease Form - If you are leasing a horse for your project, a copy of your lease agreement is also due to our office by June 6.
PAS Show - The Allen/Hardin/Auglaize PAS show will be held at the Allen County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 11. Registration for the show is required by JUNE 1. Hardin County 4-H members will NOT need to pay to enter this show. The registration form also includes the Henry County and Putnam County shows, which will cost $25 per member to enter.

Ohio State Fair - those who qualify for the Ohio State Fair, must add their horses information and negative Coggins test to their 4HOnline profile. The deadline to complete this step is July 1. A step by step guide on exactly what to do is available at the link.
Hardin County Fair Entries - The deadline to enter the fair is July 31st. All horses showing at the fair must turn in a shot record to the Fair's Secretary Office by Friday, August 5 at 4:00 p.m.
