    Our office will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 for Christmas.

    Normal business hours will resume on Thursday, December 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

    Voicemails can be left by calling 419-674-2297. All other correspondence can be left in the OSU Extension mailbox outside of the building. We will respond at our earliest convenience during normal business hours.

    As we begin to look back at 2024 and look forward to 2025, please begin to think about those you would like to nominate for the 2025 Hardin County Agriculture Hall of Fame. Below is a look at the purpose of this award and a link to the 2025 application. Applications can be turned in or mailed thorought the year to OSU Extension Hardin County, located at 1021 W. Lima St., Suite 103, Kenton. Applications are due by October 15, 2025.

  8. 2025 Hardin County Plat Book is On Sale Now!

    The 2025 edition of the Hardin County Plat Book is hot off the presses and ready for sale at the Ohio State University Extension Office in Kenton or at Hardin SWCD. The books are $25 with sales benefitting Hardin County 4-H Youth Development programs. They make a fantastic gift for farmers and hunters!

  10. Hardin County Homemakers Annual Christmas Program Set for December 3

    On December 3, 2024 the Hardin County Homemakers will be holding their annual Christmas program. Our program will be held at the Epworth Community Church, 457 S. Detroit St., Kenton, Ohio with the Homemakers furnishing lunch. Lunch will include chicken and rice casserole, green beans, Hawaiian sweet rolls, Watergate salad, assorted Christmas cookies, and either water or coffee. The theme this year will be "Bells, Bells, Bells". Included in the day's activities:
