Appointments are now open for Life Skills judging on July 11 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Community Building. If you aren't sure which category your project falls under, verify that your project is listed on the appointment sign up page before submitting your information.

Ohio State University Extension, Hardin County will offer two Safe Sitter® classes for young teens, grades 4-8, June 8, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and July 13 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office, 1021 West Lima Street, Suite 103, Kenton, OH 43326. Registration deadlines are June 2 for the June 8 class and July 7 for the July 13 class.

It’s time once again to get your hands dirty and start growing! The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) and Ohio State University Extension offices are kicking off the fourth year of the Ohio Victory Gardens program. Due to high demand, the program has expanded to include 50, up from 42 counties last year. Thousands of seed sample kits are available for free to the public to get people planting.
