    An item from the 4-H Recognition Banquet Silent Auction went unsold! We want to give everyone a chance to bid on this amazing photograph, taken and donated by Aaron Shirk. This piece is a 12x18" print of our new 2025 plat book cover. We've lowered the starting bid to $20 and will close the bidding at 4:30 pm on Friday.   3. REMINDER: 4-H Recognition Banquet Scheduled for September 22!

    The 4-H Recognition Banquet is scheduled for Sunday, September 22nd at 6:00 p.m.

    Those who received project awards,achievement awards, trip awards, and outstanding livestock will be recognized, but all 4-H families are invited to attend.

    If you are being recognized, you will receive an invitation in the mail and will receive a complimentary ticket.

    Tickets will be $10 and RSVP is required at http://go.osu.edu/hardinrsvp.

  4. REMINDER: Farm Science Review Presale Tickets Available Until September 16!

    Now that the Hardin County Fair is over, it's time to start thinking about Farm Science Review!

    Farm Science Review tickets are now available for presale purchase from our office until September 16th. Tickets are $10 in advance (children 5 and under are free). After September 16th, tickets purchased online or at the gate will cost $15. 

  5. Hardin County Agriculture Hall of Fame- Nomination Forms Now Available

    Applications are being accepted for the 2024 Hardin County Agriculture Hall of Fame through the end of business on October 4. Nominees must have made their major contribution to agriculture primarily because of being born, growing up, living in, or working in Hardin County, Ohio. Outstanding agriculturalists may be nominated by individuals or organizations. Nomination forms are available at the Hardin County OSU Extension Office or on the OSU Hardin County Extension website at hardin.osu.edu. Completed forms must be returned to the OSU Extension Office, 1021 W.

  6. Hardin County Fair Scavenger Hunt

    Join us for a fun scavenger hunt to explore all of the great things at the Hardin County Fair! After you complete all of the activities and take pictures with your friends and family, come see Jami Dellifield or Kelsey Garmon in the Community Building to receive a prize.

  7. Office Closed for Labor Day and the Hardin County Fair!

    Our office will be closed September 2nd for the observance of Labor Day.

    We will remain closed September 3rd-9th so that our staff can work and enjoy the 2024 Hardin County Fair. Please come out and see around the fair, especially in the Community Building, Show Arena, or the Youth and Ag Building!

  8. Statewide Diabetes Hero Virtual Series- Registration Open Now!

    Youth ages 9-12 with diabetes or at risk for diabetes and their parents/caregivers are invited to attend this free four-week virtual class. We will focus on the superpowers for successfully managing diabetes in everyday situations.
