Youth enrolled in 4-H sewing projects are invited to project workshops hosted by Jami Dellifield and volunteers. They will help you get your project started and through the planning and construction stages of your project.

Times: 9:30-11:00 a.m.

'Let's Preserve It', this summer's home food preservation webinar series, is set to take place on Tuesdays, starting June 9, from noon to 12:30 p.m. on Zoom.
The webinars are free, but registration is required by going to go.osu.edu/fpwebinars. Can't be there live? Registration will also give you access to watch the webinar at a more convenient time.

The Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteer program in Hardin County will host their annual ‘An Evening Garden Affair’ on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
The program will feature an educational presentation about native plants by speaker Chad Carrell of The Native Pathways Nursery and Hancock Park District. Participants will learn what native plants are, why they are important, why they should be planted, and how to incorporate them into their own landscapes.

The OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteer program will kick off our annual summer workshop series on Tuesday, June 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Friendship Gardens, located at 960 W. Kohler St. in Kenton.
The first topic in the series will focus on oak trees and will feature a celebration of America's 250th birthday. The program will feature a dedication of the oak trees planted in the garden and talks will be given by the Division of Forestry and the Master Gardener Volunteer program.
Refreshments will also be provided.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Fifteen Ohio 4-H teens recently traveled to Greece as part of the Ohio 4-H Global Immersion Project, spending much of their experience in Thessaloniki at the American Farm School, a historic educational institution focused on agriculture, experiential learning, and leadership development. From April 20–30, participants engaged in international experiences centered on leadership, agriculture, service, cultural exchange, and global learning.

Join Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District, Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardeners, and Pheasants Forever on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to noon for "Planting with Purpose"
$10 registration fee includes a native plant to take home. Additional plants will be available for $5 per plant. A light breakfast and drink will be provided.
