  1. Carcass Show Results

    The Hardin County Carcass Show of Champions were evaluated Monday, September 19 at Jenkins Meats in Mt. Victory. This year’s event was held in-person and featured OSU Department of Animal Sciences Associate Professor of Meat Science Dr. Lyda Garcia as the judge. She discussed the merits of the winning market livestock carcasses from the 2022 Hardin County Fair.

  2. Hardin Co.Fair Homemaker's Dish Day Recipes

    The Hardin County Homemakers Council and the OSU Extension office organized dish day compititions held during the 2022 Hardin County Fair. Hardin County citizens competed for prizes sponsored by the Hardin County Pork Producers, Hardin County Dairy Association, Hardin County Cattle Producers and the Hardin County Homemaker's. The recipes are available at the Hardin County Extension Office.   10. 4-H State Fair Grants

    Hardin County 4-H will be offering grants for members who are participating at the Ohio State Fair. The grants are part of a Hardin County Community Foundation grant. Grants will be $50 and awarded as a refund after OSF. 

    Who can apply? Any 4-H member showing livestock or participating in state fair project judging. 

    What can grants be used for? Any expense associated with OSF particiaption: gas, family member admission, stall fees, etc. 

    Applications are OPEN, apply now! Deadline to apply is July 27.
