- Budgeting: Learn about OSU agricultural enterprise budgets and how to utilize these tools to understand your cost of production for next year’s commodities such as corn or soybeans.
- Record Keeping: Understand and explore best practices for tracking income, expenses, and other critical financial data that relate to animals, crops, and machinery.
- Financial Reports: Gain insights into balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Learn to interpret these reports for informed financial decisions. Cash Flow Management: Discover techniques to manage your farm’s cash flow. Learn to forecast needs, identify shortfalls, and ensure a steady flow of funds.
- Farm Income and P rofit: Explore methods to track and categorize your farm’s income and expenses that will allow you to identify trends, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.
Note: Both sessions will cover the same material and include dinner, so please choose the date and location that works best for you.
