Amanda Raines attended the 2021 Epsilon Sigma Phi National Conference in Savannah, Georgia recently, and was recognized with the North Central Region Early Career Service Award. Raines is the 4-H Youth Development Educator in Hardin County. She specializes in mental health programming, providing Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Approaches Training, and various 4-H teen and volunteer programs on mental health annually. She co-authored the national award winning 4-H Project Guide “Your Thoughts Matter: Navigating Mental Health.” She also contributed mental health lessons to National 4-H Coping with Covid curriculums. Amanda served as the NAE4-HYDP President in 2020. Raines has been with the Hardin County Extension office for 10 years.
