The OSU Extension in Hardin County Master Gardener Volunteers gathered on Thursday, October 24th for a potluck meal and to watch the 2024 State Master Gardener Volunteer Conference award ceremony on Zoom. Five awards were handed out to the group in Hardin County, including:

• Mark Badertscher- Outstanding Master Gardener Volunteer Staff Coordinator
• Gene James- Friend of the Master Gardener Volunteers
• Outstanding Project in Community Service - Small County for 2024 Spring Program "Something Old, New, Tried and True", coordinated by by Kim Thomas
• Platinum Ohio State University Extension Standards for Excellence
• Jill Simmons- Top 10 Nominee for Master Gardener Volunteer of the Year
