The OSU Extension Office will be coordinating a broiler chick order for all 4-H and FFA members enrolled in market chicken projects in 2026. It is not mandatory to purchase your market chickens from the OSU Extension office, but the service is provided, in partnership with the Hardin County Fair Poultry Department, to make purchasing chicks easy and cost effective.
The minimum order is 10 chicks. If ordering for multiple exhibitors, use this chart:

- Chicks will be straight runs
- Chicks will be one (1) day old when delivered
- The required NPIP Form 9-3 turned in directly to the fair by the OSU Extension office for this order
- The final day to order is May 21, 2026, with chick delivery on July 16.

Orders must be paid for when forms are turned in. Checks can be made payable to OSU Extension.
Forms and payment must be in hand at the OSU Extension office by 4:00 p.m. on May 21.
