  2. Sewing Workshop

    OSU Extension in Hardin County is hosting monthly sewing workshops between December and April for children in 3rd grade through adults. Students in 3rd-6th grades are encouraged to bring an adult helper with them. Class size is limited to 12 participants per workshop. Each workshop will cost $15 per person, with scholarships available if needed. Payment by cash, check, or credit/debit card is accepted in person at the OSU Extension Office in Hardin County.  Participants are asked to bring a sewing kit if they have one.

  5. Hardin County Food Distribution

    OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital in partnership with the West Ohio Food Bank have announced the 2025 dates for monthly food distribution on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Home Run Memorial Park, located at 13625 OH-292 in Kenton. Please see the flyer below for for further details.

  6. 2025 Pork Banquet

    Mar. 23, 2025 5:30pm

    The 2025 annual Hardin County Pork Banquet will be held on Sunday, March 23 at the Upper Scioto Valley School District’s auditorium. The banquet will begin at 5:30 p.m. Banquet tickets this year are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 18 and under, and exhibitors for free. Reservations need to be made by March 14 by calling a director of the Hardin County Pork Producers or by calling the OSU Extension office at 419-674-2297 with all tickets paid for at the door at the banquet. The menu for the Pork Banquet will consist of several pork dishes.
